I just tried to post this, I think it was erased....
To make this as short as I can:
I was 12-yrs-old. I was finally diagnosed w/ hyperthyroidism and I was given RAI treatement. When I was about 19, I was diagnosed w/ celiac disease.
I'm now 31. I am suffering so badly w/ EXTREME fatigue. For a few years, I started getting cold sores so often, that I was put on a daily dose of Valtrex ( the generic). Almost exactly one year ago, I developed sores on the back of my head/ hair line. Then, I was feverish/had terrible chills, and then pain up and down from the back of my neck, down my spine. I was told it might be shingles. I was given steroids, and my generic "valtrex" dosage was upped for the daily amount.
Since last year when I was put on steroids, I've SUFFERED. I had to quit my job. I lost my health insurance. Now, w/out the daily horse pill dosage of the generic Valtrex, I have weeping sores on the back of my head/neck, golf ball-sized glands swollen on the back of my neck, along w/ swollen glands under my arms and along my groin, muscle fatigue to thte extreme, as well as HORRIBLE pain shooting down from the back of my neck, along my arm, to my finger tips....The only way I can describe this pain is if you can imagine a cavity in your tooth... dentist puts his pointy tool on the nerve and it hurts so badly.... This is that kind of pain, except its not just on a tooth; this pain is an intensified pain that shoots from the back of my neck, down my spine, between my shoulder blades, and almost to my finger tips. When I catch a draft on my back, its like I'm biting into a popsicle w/ a super sensitve tooth, but this tooth reaches the entire left side of my body. I'm so fatigued that I honestly cry sometimes when the alarm goes off....the onlly thing that makes me get up is the fact that my twin 7-yr-olds need me....I'm no wuss... I can handle pain. But, this is the kind of relentless pain that can drive someone to desperate measures to escape it. Please please PLEASE anyone w any input whatsoever--- please give any thoughts...
In addition to this nerve pain, I;ve been diagnosed w/ "panic attacks." Really, this is more of a terrrets-like twitching that is uncontrollable by me. I've almost fallen out of my chair at business meetings/ during lectures due to these involuntary "twitches" (more like convulsions).
I know I sound like a freak, but maybe, just maybe someone will just search for the same symptoms and we can find out what the **** is wrong... I will ist some of the other things in hopes that someone else will find me and have an answer: ( shingles, twitches, terrets, panic attacks, mono, CMV, chronic fatigue, lymph nodes, RAI, Fibromyalgia, fatigue, hypothyroidism, celiac, food allergies, Lupus, auto-immune)
