Fire Ant Bites

On Saturday I got five fire ant bites. I get a severe reaction from just one. So almost immediately my tongue started to burn badly amd swell and I could barely stay awake. Needless to say, I spent three hours in the ER on an IV.

On Sunday I vacuumed the garage. (which I do all the time; I mean all the time) And got three fire ant bites on my wrist. This is the very next day.

The weather's been so very hot (high 90's for a month) and then tons of rain for a few days. Noticed a small ****d in the front yard; didn't notice the other ****d that I mowed and walked right over. Duh! But we systemically treat our lawn 1-2X a summer and that has always done the job.
