My friend (sounds funny, but for real), is super upset because he went to the doctor for several issues and left without any answers. He has the following symptoms:
-aches, especially joints in hands ache, pins and needles all the time
-he experiences rashs and pain for anything cold, for example a cold pool, his whole body rashed; to even a cold drink, where his hands will rash and almost welt. We even tested with a popsicle on his arm, it literlly made little welt marks, when nothing occured to me when I did the experiment.
Dose anybody know what might be the problem. His diet hasn't changed in anyway, he's in his late twenties
thanks

  • Hi Maybe he should see a derm. about this ? It could be something like skin vasculitis, as I have. I was diagnosed 6 yrs. ago with much the same symptoms. Mainly cold hives, joint pain and some swelling. good luck.J.

  • Try googling the phrase cold urticaria. I'm no doctor, but this would seem consistent with the symptoms that you are listing. In certain instances, it may become important to see a doctor about this.
