Early last year I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My thyroid levels are normal, yet I am still experiencing extreme fatigue; I can sleep 10-12 hours but still not feel rested. My symptoms leading to the diagnosis were joint pain, weight gain, intolerance to cold, fatigue, etc.
In addition to those issues, I have had chronic issues with hives and unexplained rashes. I have seen an allergist who tested but did not yield any results. I have also had multiple wounds that will not heal; they get larger before healing, and they only heal after using some sort of oral antibiotic or prescription antibiotic cream.
I am frustrated and miserable from being ill all the time. I have seen multiple doctors all who have come back with the same response... "I don't know". Does anyone have any ideas of what to do next? All blood work keeps coming back normal but I know something is not right.. I am a young female that does not smoke and very rarely drinks. :(
