I'm 22 years old and never had any allergies that i knew of prior. Ive had this horrible dry cough that came out of no where which gave me pounding headaches on the right side of my head and makes me feel dizzy. I went to the hospital and the doctor diagnosed me with gerd. This didnt make any sense because i had not metioned any stomach issues or heartburn just a really itchy dry cough. He told me to buy prilosec OTC which did nothing to stop the cough but only made me get anxiety and any little thing erked my nerves. I stopped taking that bc it was not helping and only seeming to make me a grouchy anxious person. So i began to take Allegra D. This made me feel like i was on speed because my heart was beating threw my chest. I stopped this also. What the heck do i have?!! :Help!!: I think i was miss diagnosed and this cough is driving me insane! The only symptoms i seem to have is the annoything constent cough "little mucus", the headaches, and the dizzyness. I cant get any sleep because it wakes me up at all hours of the night.....Im 22 and i feel like im 90. I work in registration so i cant be hacking infront of people all day. Things ive tried:Dayquil=nothing. Robutusun?=nothing. Allegra D=feeling like im on speed. Prilosec= anxious/grouchy...There has to be something out there thats going to make this go away!http://f1.hgimg.com/images/smilies/frown.pngReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
