Axillary itching and rash

I developed underarm itching several years ago and have not found the cause yet. It has evolved into a persistent rash that gets worse and better then worse again. Have changed to non-allergenic detergent, which seemed to help a little for a while. I had to stop using deodorant, which instantly makes it worse. I clean the area 2x/day and it is worse if I don't. Tried a number of topicals but the only thing I've found that makes it bearable is calimine lotion 2 or more times/day. My GP gave me some prescription cream which instantly made it worse. I have an appointment with a dermatologist in a couple of weeks.

Also have atrial fibrillation and a long history of palpitations (10 years).

Anyone out there with anything similar found a cause/solution? I'm thinking some kind of allergy but what would cause this particular symptom?

  • Try propolis under your arms each morning instead if deoderant. It not only acts as a deoderant and has a pleseant smell, but it is a great medicine for all kinds of rashes. I used it for my candida that drove me nuts for years until I found this neat little secret.Good luck and come back and tell us if it works for you too!
