Hello, thanks for reading my post, although Im not even sure where to post this because I have a myriad of symptoms. It might be anaphylaxis? Anyways here goes nothing.. The setting is that I'm outside at a party.
Minutes after I smoke, I feel a bubbling sensation in my lungs. Then my lungs swell up and I feel fluid in my chest cavity or lungs. My chest tightens and I have difficulty breathing. I hear a popping noise in my chest whenever I use my chest muscles. I begin to consciously feel my heart beat. It starts pounding extremely fast and sometimes irregular. I start to feel sharp pains in my chest. I also feel a spasm/twitch in my artery/ valve in my heart or lung not sure which. By now i have intense discomfort in my chest. I feel dizzy and lightheaded. I have abdominal cramps as well. I find this strange, but I also had a metallic taste in my mouth like I just licked a stop sign. At this point I felt like I was dying and almost called 911. :( Only reason I didn't because I was at a party and didn't want to embarrass myself. I sat quietly in a chair freaking out then went inside and layed on a couch. It was an intense and horrible feeling that I really can't describe. After about 30 minutes though the symptoms disappeared and I felt better.
I have never had problems smoking before though. I sparingly smoke, probably once a month.
The last 3 times I tried smoking I have gotten the above symptoms, seconds to minutes after smoking. Each of those times I tried smoking, the symptoms become more intense. Probably never going to try and smoke again.

I am 20 years old, have dark blonde hair, blue eyes, and weigh 135ibs. I consider myself healthy. Periodically, I run 5-10 miles. Whenever I go to the doctors they say I have a healthy blood pressure. My resting heart rate is 53-56 beats per minute, which the doctors say is very good and that i have a healthy heart.
Also I am not allergic to anything that i know of (e.g. peanuts, shellfish, poison ivy, poison oak, penicillin, bee stings, etc)
I was wondering if..
1) Is this a severe allergic reaction? (anaphylaxis)
2) Should I find out what exactly I am allergic to in the smoke?
3) If its not an allergic reaction what is it? (panic attack?)
4) Should I see a doctor?
5) Any other recommendations?
Thank you for viewing and responding to my post. I really appreciate it :)
