I began taking allergy shots 3 years ago and since that time my face has took on - in what had been a gradual process - a 'moon face' or puffy-face type look. Now I am pretty skinny as it is and don't have much body fat on me so its not fat, not to mention my face doesn't appear to look conventionally fat -- just round as if fluid is being retained in my cheeks. I do notice that my face looks even puffier in the morning and also after I stretch it out... just wondering if this is a sure-tell sign of water retention and if possibly the long time allergy shots have caused this? And again, the roundness had come on very gradually so its not just a sudden occurrence of some seemingly dangerous allergic reaction.
The thing is that the facial puffiness isn't extremely noticeable in person but I can definitely tell it by looking at photographs of myself, so asking other people proves futile.
Mainly looking to see if anyone else on allergy shots have noticed the same thing? Thanks
