Update to my previous post: Since writing my first post in January 09, I had negative results for Celiac disease (or gluten intolerance) blood test. My doctor had no other suggestions.

The itching however has stopped, yeah! since I changed by diet; I have stopped eating bread, bagels, pastries, etc., conscious of not eating enriched wheat flour products. It may or may not be wheat, or it may be quantity, not sure. It may be an ingredient used with breads, etc, not sure of that either. What I do know is the itching has stopped. If you try this, supplement your diet with other grain sources. Good luck all.

Three years later!!
