My husband is addicted to chewing tobacco. Can anyone give me some recommendations as to how to overcome this? Do the gums/patches really work? How about scare tactics? Any personal stories?
Please help!

  • try to show him some terrible pictures of people who have gotten gum disease and oral cancer from chewing. Iv'e been chewing hardcore for about 6 months now and recently i was showed some pictures from a friend of oral cancer, and i stopped immediately. It worked with me and hopefully it will work for your husband. Also note that when a person is over the age of 23 and is still chewing or started chewing, their chances of getting mouth cancer are immensely increased!!!p.s. you can find any bad pictures by just typing in "mouth cancer" or "oral cancer" on google or yahoo.hope this helps
