My husband is an alcoholic. We've been together for 13 years. If he drinks a couple beers a night, he's fine and I'm OK with that but he drinks Scotch and puts it in his coffee. He drinks almost every night and most of the time he waits untill I go to bed. He stumbles, slur his words and I hate seeing him like that. I told him that either he get help or I'm leaving. Well today was his first AA meeting. He hasn't had a drink in 3 days (the day when I told him to get help).

My question is, when is he out of the wood if he were to have an alcoholic seizures? He doesn't get the shakes or anything yet. Any suggestions?

Thank You,
