  • Hi there LGS808..... you can try these simple remedies that can help you with acne problem:* You will need to mix one part vinegar, one part apple cider or any other natural vinegar, and around 8 to 10 parts water to get the kind of safe mixture you will need to cleanse your face with. You can use a piece of cotton or a cotton ball dipped in this solution to wipe off excess oils on your skin as well as remove deep seated dirt from your skin.* Another one of the more commonly used acne skin care recipes that you can create in the comfort of your own home is an egg-white mask. This simple mask consists of nothing but a couple of stiffly beaten egg-whites. All you need to do is beat a couple of egg-whites until they are nice and fluffy and smear them on your face. You will have to let this mask sit for a few minutes or until it dries out, and then wash it off with clean, warm water. Then, pat dry with a clean towel. Other acne skin care recipes that use egg-whites sometimes use dry oatmeal in the mixture to help draw out the excess oils in the skin. You can use this egg-white and oatmeal combination on your skin, but you must be careful not to use it more than once or twice a week since this may easily dry your skin out as well.

  • I suggest to try this scrub http://www.amazon.com/bliss-lemon-sage-body-scrub/dp/B001O1Q4A4I've been washing my face with that stuff all year and have no regrets giving up on dermatologist prescribed meds. I'm 22 and I've been on dermatologist prescribed acne creams/gels since I was 14 or 15 and before that I was using proactive. Benzaclin and Retina A worked for only so long and stay away from whatever pills your Dr. prescribes you if you enjoy life not being depressed.

  • Here are few tips for you: 1. Wash your face at least twice a day. Do not scrub. 2. Tea tree oil is the best topical solution for acne. 3. Aloe Vera is another very effective natural treatment. 4. A mixture of yeast and lemon juice works well to get rid of acne. 5. Drink sufficient water. 6. Keep watch in your dirt. Avoid oily food. 7. The most important thing keep your hands away from your face. I mean don’t touch your face again and again. That contributes to increase the problem.

  • I've never had a real acne problem. However, I do get pretty severe flair-ups during PMS. I used medicated scrubs and things like Pro-Activ, but none of them controlled it. A few months ago, I switched off all my chemical-laden "medicated" nonsense and started using...honey. =) It's a natural antibiotic and has worked wonders. I use about a teaspoon, morning and night. If my skin starts to act up or blackheads come back, I let it dry on my face. Otherwise, I just rub it in while I'm in the shower. Wash it off with warm water. I also second the egg-white mask. I've never experienced any drying from it, and I use it several times per week. But, like I said, I don't have truly chronic skin problems...Finally, instead of using heavy creams, try a simple product like Aquaphor. It takes a while to soak into the skin, and doesn't have any SPF in it. I prefer it to others because the winters around here leave me and my kids with pretty nasty windburns, and during the summer is rehydrates my skin better than anything. =)

  • I have suffered with bad acne most of my life that is until I started using the 14 Day Acne Cure Solution. The 14 Days Acne Solution was the only thing that worked for me. But to be honest it took me maybe 3 weeks rather than the 14 days. I think this is mainly because I did not stick to the plan 100%. The good thing though is that I am acne free now and that is what matters.
